The PowerHD-100 is the first truly portable digital TV antenna that enables you to receive free off air digital broadcast stations in your area. It's an expensive way to avoid improving the same old reception, but I reluctantly will keep it because I now have consistent reception; I had to change my ring and rabbit ear antenna daily. I wish I gained all the stations other reviewers gained; I got no new English-language channels in what I thought would be a crowded market: New York City.I have to turn it off to get a clear picture from the VCR.See my product photos. It's very easy to hide; I had to rearrange things so you could actually see it.

Had high hopes for this device after reading the reviews here, but sadly discovered that its reception-- at least in my location-- wasn't an improvement over regular ol' rabbit ears (which don't need an ac plug or batteries to operate).

It works as a digital antena however it is very position dependent. It has replaced my rabbit ears but the only advantage is space conservation.

I purchased this antenna based on the positive reviews and I'm happy to report that it works as advertised. When I opened up the package I was surprised to see its small size. I've tried two other antennas and this beat them hands down. I picked up additonal channels (21) total. Five more than the other antennas. All come in crystal clear. So easy to use, perfect signal. Living in an apartment and getting 22 great channels, most HD!Only down faults, short cords. I agree with this major issue with other reviews, but longer cords are easily bought for very, very cheap!
